Fusilli with Shrimp in Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- Pasta shells 20 oz
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp 10 oz
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Salt 3 teaspoons
- 10% cream 15 fl oz
- Corn Starch 2 teaspoons
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the fusilli in salted water. Rinse. Dry in the oven.
Step 2
Boil the shrimp.
Step 3
Peel, crush with a wide knife, and finely chop the garlic.
Step 4
Sauté the garlic over low heat.
Step 5
Add the shrimp.
Step 6
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 7
Sauté lightly (for about three minutes, no more, otherwise the shrimp will become rubbery).
Step 8
Pour in the cream. Bring to a boil.
Step 9
Quickly stir the cream to avoid lumps, then add the cornstarch. Remove the creamy shrimp sauce from the heat.
Step 10
Serve in portions, garnished with your favorite herbs.
