Fusilli with Cherry Tomatoes
Ingredients
- Water 25 fl oz
- Pasta shells 10 oz
- Pink Himalayan Salt to taste
- Olive Oil 1½ tablespoons
- Marinated cherries 5 oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce 2½ tablespoons
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 5 oz
- Chili jam 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour water into a pot, add salt, and bring to a boil.
Step 2
While boiling, add a couple of drops of olive oil.
Step 3
Add the pasta and stir. Reduce the heat to medium. Cook according to the instructions on the package.
Step 4
Heat olive oil in a skillet.
Step 5
Add the halved or quartered cherry tomatoes.
Step 6
After 2 minutes, add the tomato paste and salt. Reduce the heat to medium.
Step 7
Stir and add the chili sauce. Simmer, stirring, for another 3–4 minutes.
Step 8
As soon as the pasta is ready, drain the water immediately.
Step 9
Sprinkle with cheese and cover with a lid. After 1 minute, stir.
Step 10
Combine the pasta with the tomato sauce and serve.
