Description

Frittata with Smoked Salmon and Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh Mushrooms 10 oz
  • Salt ¼ teaspoon
  • Ground Black Pepper ¼ teaspoon
  • Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
  • Egg white 6 pieces
  • Scallions 0 oz
  • Smoked Salmon Flavored Croutons 10 oz
  • Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 2 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the grill in the oven.

Step 2

In a medium heat, heat an ovenproof skillet and melt the butter in it. Arrange the thinly sliced mushrooms in an even layer and cook without stirring for 5 minutes, until the mushrooms start to brown. Season with salt and pepper, flip to the other side, and cook for another 5 minutes until browned.

Step 3

Slightly reduce the heat.

Step 4

In a large bowl, whisk the eggs well and add the finely chopped onion. Pour the eggs over the mushrooms and gently stir. Add the finely chopped fish, cover with a lid, and cook for another 5 minutes until the eggs are set.

Step 5

Sprinkle with cheese and place under the grill for 2 minutes until the cheese melts.

Step 6

Cut into segments and serve.
