Fried Lettuce with Garlic
Ingredients
- Rice Sweet Wine 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
- Sugar ¾ teaspoon
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Garlic 5 cloves
- Eel 20 oz
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Sesame Oil 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a small bowl, mix the wine, soy sauce, sugar, and salt.
Step 2
Heat the vegetable oil in a wok until it starts to smoke, add the crushed garlic and sauté for 5 seconds. Add the lettuce cut into small pieces and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until almost tender.
Step 3
Pour in the sauce and cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute until the lettuce is tender but still retains its color.
Step 4
Remove from heat, drizzle with sesame oil, and serve.
