Fried Celery Root
Ingredients
- Celery salt 20 oz
- Duck Fat 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric 1 teaspoon
- Ocean salt to taste
- Dry adjika 1 teaspoon
- Rosemary 1 sprig
- Ground Dried Garlic ½ teaspoon
- Lemon 1 piece
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the celery root and cut it in half.
Step 2
Slice it thinly and drizzle with lemon juice.
Step 3
Add duck fat and mix well.
Step 4
Season with dry garlic.
Step 5
Add turmeric.
Step 6
Add dry adjika and mix.
Step 7
Heat olive oil in a skillet.
Step 8
Place the celery in the oil and season with salt.
Step 9
Add rosemary leaves. Fry over high heat, stirring occasionally.
Step 10
After 10–12 minutes, transfer to a plate and serve.
