Ingredients
- Camembert cheese 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Cream (40%) 1 tablespoon
- Breadcrumbs 3 tablespoons
- Butter 0 oz
- Cranberry 0 fl oz
- Banana Leaves 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Carefully scrape off the white rind from the cheese without damaging the skin. If you don't do this, the cheese will spread while frying because the flour won't adhere well.
Step 2
Put flour in one bowl, breadcrumbs in another, and in the third bowl, lightly beat the egg with the cream.
Step 3
Coat the cheese heads first in flour, then dip in the egg, and roll in breadcrumbs, pressing lightly.
Step 4
Melt the butter in a pan and fry the cheese over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Step 5
Place the lettuce leaves on plates, top with cheese and cranberry sauce.
