Forest Mushrooms in Sauce
Ingredients
- Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
- Shallot 2 pieces
- Serrano Chili 5 oz
- Porcini Mushrooms 5 oz
- Sherry 6 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Cream 3 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat the oil in a pan, add finely chopped shallots, and cook over low heat, stirring, for 8 minutes until the shallots are browned. Add finely chopped ham and cook for another 2-3 minutes, then add coarsely chopped mushrooms to the pan. Cook, stirring, for another 8 minutes.
Step 2
Pour in the sherry and simmer for another 8 minutes. Then season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the cream and warm the mixture, stirring, but do not let it boil. Serve immediately.
