Ingredients
- Buckwheat Groats 15 oz
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat a heavy cast-iron skillet WITHOUT oil.
Step 2
Pour the buckwheat groats into the skillet and toast for about 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 3
Add room temperature water two fingers above the level of the groats, season with salt, cover with a lid, and bring to readiness over low heat. If the water evaporates and the groats are not yet ready, you can add a little more water.
