Description

If desired, you can make a bed of potatoes (don’t forget to season with salt and pepper) and onions on foil, and place the fish on top. Wrap it up and bake. You can use any fish. I made it with hake and pollock.

Ingredients

  • Fish 1 piece
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Salt 0 oz
  • Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 3 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

To prepare the fish, you will need a piece of foil; it’s better to make a double layer to prevent the juice from leaking.

Step 2

Wash the fish, remove the insides, and cut off the head.

Step 3

Rub with salt and spices (if you like it spicy, you can add black ground pepper to the spices).

Step 4

Let it sit for about twenty minutes to allow the fish to absorb the salt and flavors.

Step 5

Mix the lemon juice with the oil. Rub the mixture onto the fish.

Step 6

Cut the lemon into wedges, place them inside the fish and on top, making incisions beforehand.

Step 7

Wrap the fish in foil (not too tightly), place it on a baking sheet, and put it in a preheated oven. Bake at medium heat for forty to fifty minutes.
