Ingredients
- Sole fillets 25 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Carrot 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
- Passata Tomato Sauce 10 fl oz
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Meyer Lemon Juice to taste
- Sugar to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the sauce. For this, finely chop the onion and sauté it in vegetable oil until translucent.
Step 2
Add the julienned carrot and sauté for another 7-10 minutes.
Step 3
After that, pour in the tomato sauce, add the crushed garlic, a bit of lemon juice, sugar, pepper, and salt to taste, and mix.
Step 4
Cook on low heat for 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 5
Boil or simmer the fish fillet until cooked and cut it into small cubes.
Step 6
Layer the fish on a dish, pouring sauce over each layer.
Step 7
Let it sit for 3-4 hours in a cool place.
