Fish in Sweet Miso Marinade

Ingredients

  • Cod fillet 2 pieces
  • Ocean salt to taste
  • Miso Paste 2 cups
  • Mirin 5 fl oz
  • Mild Chili Spice 4 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a small saucepan, bring the mirin to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in the miso paste. Let it cool to room temperature.

Step 2

Lightly salt the fish, place it on a rack, and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Then rinse under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.

Step 3

Place the fish in a container and pour the marinade over it. Cover with a lid and refrigerate for 24 hours.

Step 4

Grill on a well-heated grill or in a wok until golden brown. Also grill the peppers and serve them alongside the fish.
