Ingredients
- Fig 8 pieces
- Balsamic Vinegar 0 fl oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Parmesan Cheese 0 oz
- Apple Wine 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine the wine, vinegar, and sugar, and simmer the mixture for ten minutes over low heat.
Step 2
Make a shallow crosswise cut on each fig at the stem end. Place the figs in a baking dish (cut side up), pour over a sauce made of wine, sugar, and balsamic vinegar, and bake in an oven preheated to 355°F for ten minutes.
Step 3
Then sprinkle with grated Parmesan, keep in the oven for another five minutes, and serve.
