Pasta and Pizza • Italian
Description
Rule 1110 The Italian pasta cooking rule is simply known as 1110. It’s easy to remember and important to follow: for every 100 grams of pasta, use 1 liter of boiling water and 10 grams of salt. Then, cook according to the instructions on the package.
Ingredients
- Fettuccine Pasta 10 oz
- Parsley 2 sprigs
- Shrimp 5 oz
- Blue Cheese 0 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Cream 22% 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the parsley and blue cheese. If using harder varieties like Parmesan, use a grater.
Step 2
Peel the shrimp shells.
Step 3
Put the pasta to cook.
Step 4
Now it's time to make the sauce. In a hot skillet, melt the butter, being careful not to let it brown; otherwise, it will darken. Once it has completely melted, pour in the cream. Stir continuously until the sauce begins to thicken. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5
The sauce begins to thicken but is still liquid. Add the cheese and herbs. Stir again. The consistency should be such that when you run a spatula through it, a trail remains.
Step 6
At the very end, add the shrimp and after 1 minute, the cooked pasta. Mix everything well and serve immediately!
Step 7
The dish has a rich creamy cheese flavor, infused with the aromas of herbs and the pasta itself.
