Fettuccine pasta with ham and mushrooms

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
  • 10% cream 15 fl oz
  • Fresh Mushrooms 10 oz
  • Ham 10 oz
  • Fettuccine Pasta 20 oz
  • Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 5 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Chicken Broth 5 tablespoons
  • Parsley to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente, about 5 minutes.

Step 2

Slice the ham and mushrooms into thin strips.

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a deep skillet, add the mushrooms and ham, season with salt and a little pepper.

Step 4

Sauté for 10 minutes.

Step 5

Add the chicken broth or water and the cream. The mushrooms and ham should be covered. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil.

Step 6

Once boiling, add the fettuccine, stir. Leave on heat for 2 minutes.

Step 7

Add the cheese, mix thoroughly. Serve immediately on a plate. Garnish with parsley or basil and ground pepper.
