Fettuccine baked with shrimp and cheese
Ingredients
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp 5 oz
- 10% cream 10 fl oz
- Butter 2 tablespoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice ½ tablespoon
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Parsley ½ bunch
- Melted Cheese 5 oz
- Lemon-Pepper Mix to taste
- Olive Oil 1 teaspoon
- Fettuccine Pasta 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Add olive oil and pasta to boiling salted water. Cook at a gentle boil.
Step 2
Thaw the shrimp (if necessary) and combine with the pasta.
Step 3
For the sauce, combine the cream and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring. Let it thicken for a couple of minutes and remove from heat. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, and stir again.
Step 4
Mix the sauce into the pasta and stir well. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil. Place the pasta with shrimp in the dish and bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Sprinkle with Parmesan and pieces of mozzarella and return to the oven for another 10–15 minutes. The pasta should be covered with a golden crust. Let it cool slightly, season with pepper, and garnish with parsley leaves. Serve warm.
