Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 15 oz
- Rejuvelac 5 fl oz
- Sunflower Seeds 10 oz
- Salt 2 teaspoons
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
- Water 10 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour the flour and seeds into a deep bowl. Add salt (plus your favorite spices).
Step 2
Mix the fermented cabbage juice with hot water (120°F), and pour it into the flour.
Step 3
Dissolve the baking soda in boiling water and add it to the flour. Mix everything until it reaches the consistency of thick sour cream.
Step 4
Cover and let it sit overnight in a warm place.
Step 5
In the morning, place it on a baking sheet and bake at 480°F for 50–60 minutes (let it cool in the oven without opening it).
Step 6
Gluten-free option: use flour from green buckwheat, chickpeas, with the addition of ground chia seeds, hulled hemp seeds, amaranth, seeds, nuts, coconut flakes, etc.
