Farfalle with Sautéed Onions and Broccoli
Ingredients
- Onion 1 head
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Dried tarragon 1 teaspoon
- Farfalle Pasta 10 oz
- Broccoli florets 4 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the onion into 8 pieces. Cut each piece into 12 mm chunks.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 3
Add the onion and sauté for 10 minutes until the onion is browned.
Step 4
Add the tarragon and 1 cup of water, cook for 5-7 minutes until the liquid evaporates.
Step 5
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions, adding the broccoli three minutes before the end of cooking.
Step 6
Drain the broccoli and pasta, mix with the onion.
Step 7
Season with salt and pepper to taste, drizzle with olive oil if desired.
