Fantasy Penne Pasta with Vegetables
Ingredients
- Tomatoes 1 piece
- Spanish onions 1 piece
- Celery salt 5 oz
- Olive Oil to taste
- Balsamic Vinegar to taste
- "Almette cheese with Maasdam cheese" 5 oz
- Ham 6 pieces
- White Cabbage 5 oz
- Penne rigate 5 oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce 2 teaspoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the tomatoes into large pieces, slice the onion into rings, and chop the celery.
Step 2
Pour water over the vegetables in a skillet, place on the heat, add salt, bring to a boil, drizzle with vinegar, and add more salt.
Step 3
Simmer for about 30 minutes without covering — the water should evaporate.
Step 4
Add the tomato paste and simmer for another 15 minutes — there should be a little water left.
Step 5
Start cooking the penne, preferably salting the water with sea salt.
Step 6
Sauté the chopped ham.
Step 7
Grate the cheese.
Step 8
Take whole cabbage leaves and immerse them in boiling water for 5 minutes.
Step 9
Place a cabbage leaf on a plate, add half of the cheese, then the hot penne, top with the vegetables and sauce, then add the ham, and finally sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
