Falafel with Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients

  • Chickpea 10 oz
  • Parsley 1 bunch
  • Dill 2 bunches
  • Cilantro 1 bunch
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Garlic 6 cloves
  • Black Cumin (Cumin) ½ teaspoon
  • Turmeric ½ teaspoon
  • Red Long Chili Peppers to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable Oil ½ l
  • Milk ½ cup
  • Sour Cream 1 tablespoon
  • Courgette 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Soak the chickpeas in cold water for at least 10 hours.

Step 2

Drain the water, blend all the listed ingredients, and form balls slightly larger than a walnut from the resulting mixture.

Step 3

Fry the formed balls in vegetable oil until golden brown.

Step 4

Place the balls on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Step 5

Boil the milk and cool it to 105°F.

Step 6

Mix with yogurt or sour cream, transfer to a thermos, and leave overnight.

Step 7

Grate the cucumber, finely chop the dill, mince the garlic, and mix all the ingredients with the strained milk, adding salt to taste.

Step 8

Serve on a plate, on lettuce or arugula leaves. Drizzle with sauce.
