Eggs Benedict with Ham on Toasts
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Toasts 2 pieces
- Ham 5 oz
- Vinegar essence 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Poach the eggs. Bring 1.5 liters of water to a boil, add a couple of tablespoons of vinegar, and while stirring the water with a spoon, create a whirlpool. Crack one egg into a bowl beforehand. Pour the egg into the boiling water at the center of the whirlpool.
Step 2
Cook for 2–3 minutes, then remove the egg with a slotted spoon and pat dry any excess water with a paper towel.
Step 3
Toast the bread (any kind), place sliced ham on top, and then add the poached egg.
Step 4
You can add herbs, vegetables, seeds, and a classic sauce (sour cream, mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper).
