Eggplants with Sesame Paste

Ingredients

  • Eggplants 2 pieces
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Sesame Oil 0 fl oz
  • Toasted Sesame 5 oz
  • Olive Oil 6 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Feta cheese to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Toast the sesame seeds (100 g) in the oven for 10 minutes, shaking occasionally. Place in a blender and start grinding, gradually adding the sesame oil. Store the sauce in the refrigerator.

Step 2

Zest the lemon and squeeze out the juice. Gradually add the sauce and season with salt. Cut the eggplants into 1 cm thick slices. Coat in the mixture and place on a grill pan. Drizzle with olive oil on top. Sprinkle with remaining sesame seeds and crumbled feta cheese when serving.
