Ingredients
- Walnuts 0 oz
- Mayonnaise 0 oz
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Eggplants 1 piece
- Cheese Spread 5 oz
- Parsley to taste
- Dill to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice unpeeled eggplants into thin rounds, sprinkle with salt, and let them sit for 15 minutes. Then rinse with water and place them in a preheated pan with vegetable oil. Fry until cooked through on each side; transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil.
Step 2
Filling: Grate the cheese using a fine grater, add the chopped walnuts, minced garlic, and mix the resulting mixture with mayonnaise. If desired, you can add chopped parsley and/or dill.
Step 3
Spread the filling in a thin layer over the slice of eggplant, then roll it up tightly. If desired, you can secure the resulting roll with a toothpick for canapés or lightly sauté it.
Step 4
Let it steep in a cool place. Serve chilled.
