Eggless Mayonnaise
Ingredients
- Celery stalk 2 pieces
- Tomato Puree 1 tablespoon
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Safflower Oil 5 fl oz
- Lemon ½ piece
- Chopped almonds 10 pieces
- Green peppercorns 4 pieces
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the celery into 2 cm long sticks and finely chop the leaves. Soak the almonds in boiling water for 2 minutes, then dry them. Crush the peppercorns in a mortar.
Step 2
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until the mixture is smooth.
Step 3
Transfer to a sauceboat and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
