Description

From 3 kg of porcini mushrooms, you get approximately 250-300 g of dried mushrooms. The mushrooms shrink about 10-12 times.

Ingredients

  • Porcini Mushrooms 105 oz
  • Spices to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

It is necessary to thoroughly clean the mushrooms of sand with a brush or cloth; dirt can be cut off the stem with a knife. Do not wash the mushrooms.

Step 2

Cut the mushrooms into large pieces.

Step 3

Spread the cut mushrooms at a decent distance from each other on a rack to allow air circulation.

Step 4

Turn on the oven to convection mode at 120°F to dry the mushrooms. Keep the oven door slightly open during the entire drying process.

Step 5

When the surface of the mushrooms feels dry to the touch, increase the oven temperature to 165°F.

Step 6

Drying time depends on the size of the mushrooms and their moisture content.

Step 7

The finished mushrooms can be sprinkled with your favorite spices.
