
Dietary Cottage Cheese Casserole with Cherries

Ingredients
- 5% Cottage Cheese 15 oz
- Oat flakes 5 oz
- 1% Milk 10 fl oz
- Chicken Eggs 2 pieces
- Frozen Cherries 5 oz
- Dried Cranberries 0 oz
- Vanilla to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Add milk to the oat flakes and soak for about 30 minutes until the flakes become soft. Soak the cranberries in warm water for about 15 minutes.
Step 2
Lightly beat the cottage cheese and eggs separately with a mixer, then combine them. Add the milk and oat flakes to the mixture and stir.
Step 3
Add the cherries, stirring with a spoon to evenly distribute the berries in the cottage cheese mixture. Add the dried cranberries and vanilla.
Step 4
Grease a baking dish with oil, pour the prepared mixture of cottage cheese, berries, and oats into it, and bake at 390°F for 30-40 minutes. About 20 minutes into baking, it is advisable to poke the casserole in several places with a stick to ensure it bakes more evenly.
