Ingredients
- Red Currant 1 head
- Antonovka apples 2 pieces
- Sugar 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Shred the cabbage and grate the apples.
Step 2
Sprinkle the frying pan with sugar so that the bottom is completely covered, i.e., not too thin a layer.
Step 3
Place the frying pan on the heat and allow the sugar to melt (on low heat).
Step 4
When the sugar starts to flow, add the cabbage and apples to the pan, mix, and simmer on low heat for 1.5 hours. Stir occasionally. If the cabbage does not release juice, add a little water. The cabbage should not float in the juice, but it should not remain dry either.
