  • Peanut Sprouts 20 oz
  • Vinegar essence 0 fl oz

  • Soy Sauce 0 fl oz
  • Sugar 6 teaspoons
  • Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Minced garlic 3 cloves
  • Toasted Sesame 2 teaspoons
  • Chili jam 2 teaspoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the roots in a pot, cover with water, and put on the heat. Boil for exactly 5 minutes.

Step 2

While the roots are cooking, prepare the marinade. Mix vinegar, water, soy sauce, sugar, vegetable oil, garlic, sesame seeds, and chili sauce to taste. You can add more chili sauce if someone prefers it spicier.

Step 3

Drain the water, transfer to a container where the roots will be marinated. The roots should be hot, and the marinade should be cold.

Step 4

Pour the marinade over the roots and marinate for 6 hours.
