Ingredients

  • Tofu 10 oz
  • Sitimy spice blend 1 tablespoon
  • Salt 1 tablespoon
  • Wheat Flour 0 oz
  • Chicken Egg 2 pieces
  • Panko breadcrumbs 0 oz
  • Sweet Chili Sauce 0 fl oz
  • Vegetable Oil to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the tofu into 4 rectangles, each about 1 cm thick. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. In a small bowl, mix the spices, salt, and flour. In another bowl, lightly beat an egg, and in a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs. Dredge the tofu pieces first in the flour, then in the egg and breadcrumbs. Repeat the process of dipping them back in the egg and breadcrumbs to create a good coating.

Step 2

Pour oil into a wok or frying pan to a third full and heat it to 355°F. Fry the tofu until golden brown. Then transfer it to a paper towel.

Step 3

Arrange on two plates and serve, placing small bowls of sauce alongside.
