Creamy Pasta with Asparagus
Ingredients
- Asparagus 1 bunch
- 30% Cream 5 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Grated Parmesan cheese 0 oz
- Pasta 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the tops off the asparagus. In a small pot, bring the cream and garlic to a boil. Remove from heat, take out the garlic, and set the pot aside.
Step 2
Cook the asparagus stems in boiling salted water for 4-5 minutes, drain the water, then add the cream with grated Parmesan. Blend the mixture until smooth.
Step 3
Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Two minutes before it’s done, add the asparagus tops.
Step 4
Drain the pasta. Mix the sauce with the pasta; serve topped with grated cheese.
