Ingredients
- Onion 20 oz
- Thyme 2 sprigs
- Dry White Wine 0 fl oz
- Star anise 1 piece
- Chicken Broth 5 fl oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- 33% Cream 5 fl oz
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Chop the onion into small cubes.
Step 3
In a saucepan, heat the vegetable oil, add the onion, and add the thyme leaves.
Step 4
Sauté until golden brown.
Step 5
Add the wine, star anise, and broth.
Step 6
Simmer on low heat until the onion is completely soft.
Step 7
Remove the star anise and blend the sauce with an immersion blender.
Step 8
Add the butter, cream, and blend again.
Step 9
Season with salt to taste.
Step 10
Serve the creamy sauce with meat.
