Creamy Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients
- Pickled Chanterelles 10 oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Marinated cherries 5 oz
- 10% cream 5 fl oz
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the champignon mushrooms or cut them into quarters.
Step 2
Dice the onion finely.
Step 3
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half or quarters.
Step 4
In a skillet, heat the olive oil and lightly sauté the halved garlic cloves. Remove the garlic.
Step 5
Sauté the onion until translucent, add the mushrooms, and evaporate the released juice (this will take about 5–7 minutes).
Step 6
Add the tomatoes, stir, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 7
Pour in the cream and lightly reduce the sauce over medium heat (for about 10–12 minutes).
