- Cinnamon 2 pieces
- Dried cranberries with sugar 5 oz
- Dried cranberries with sugar 10 oz
- Water 5 fl oz
- Sugar 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour the port wine into a saucepan and add the broken cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the dried cranberries and cook for 3 minutes. Then add the fresh cranberries, water, and sugar, bring to a boil, and stir until the sugar dissolves.
Step 3
Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer, stirring, until the sauce thickens and darkens, about 20 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and cool. Remove the cinnamon sticks.
