Cranberry-Pomegranate Appetizer
Ingredients
- Shallot 1 piece
- Dried cranberries with sugar 10 oz
- Vegetable Oil 2 teaspoons
- Black Pomegranate Molasses 1 cup
- Brown Sugar ½ cup
- Coarse Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Pomegranate Seeds ½ cup
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped shallot and sauté, stirring, until soft, about 3 minutes.
Step 2
Add the cranberries, pomegranate juice, and brown sugar, season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer, stirring, for about 10 minutes, until the berries start to burst.
Step 3
Remove from heat and stir in the pomegranate seeds. Let cool.
