Cranberry Chutney with Ginger and Garlic
Ingredients
- Grated Ginger Root 2 teaspoons
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Dried cranberries with sugar 2 cups
- Sugar 10 tablespoons
- Orange juice concentrate ½ cup
- Apple Cider Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Coarse Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over low heat. Add the ginger and minced garlic and sauté until soft for 3 minutes.
Step 2
Then add the cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and vinegar. Cook over medium heat for about 8 minutes, until the berries start to burst and the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
