Couscous porridge with nuts and raisins
Ingredients
- Couscous ½ cup
- Milk 15 fl oz
- Sugar to taste
- Salt to taste
- Hazelnut 10 pieces
- Pistachios 20 pieces
- Light Raisins, Seedless to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour the couscous into a glass or ceramic bowl, add salt and sugar, and pour hot milk over it (the milk should cover the grains). Stir, cover with plastic wrap or a lid, and let it steep for 2–3 minutes. Repeat this process 3 times, breaking up any lumps with a fork while stirring. Add the nuts and raisins.
Step 2
If you have time, you can let the porridge cool and steep for about 10 minutes. If it is too thick, dilute it with milk.
