  • Breadcrumbs 5 oz
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 0 oz
  • Feta cheese 10 oz
  • Cottage cheese 10 oz
  • Chives 4 tablespoons
  • Semi-soft cream cheese 5 oz
  • Scallions 3 pieces
  • Gelatin 2 teaspoons
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 2 tablespoons
  • Egg white 2 pieces
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, butter, and pepper. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes at 390°F.

Step 2

Prepare the filling. Crumble the feta cheese with a fork, place it in a food processor along with the crumbly and soft cottage cheese. Blend until the mixture is smooth. Transfer to a bowl, add chopped chives, chopped green onions, and season with pepper.

Step 3

In another bowl, combine lemon juice and 55 ml of water, add gelatin, and stir until dissolved. Add this mixture to the filling. Mix thoroughly. Then gradually fold in the previously beaten egg whites.

Step 4

Pour the resulting mixture onto the base in the cooled dish, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight.
