Cottage Cheese Pancakes with Dark Chocolate

Description
As a fragrant addition, I recommend adding finely grated orange zest to the dough: this spice works wonderfully in desserts that involve chocolate and cottage cheese.
Ingredients
- Semi-soft cream cheese 15 oz
- Large eggs 1 piece
- Semolina 0 oz
- Coarsely Ground Rye Flour 0 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate 0 oz
- Brown Sugar 0 oz
- Vanilla extract ½ teaspoon
- Salt a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the egg with salt and sugar.
Step 2
In a deep bowl, sift the cottage cheese (preferably fatty but well-drained), mix it with the sifted flour, and add the vanilla extract.
Step 3
Combine the egg mixture with the cottage cheese mixture and knead a sticky, pliable dough.
Step 4
Break the chocolate bar into pieces. Roll the cottage cheese dough into a log, cut it into equal parts, and, rolling in semolina, shape the pancakes to your desired size. Place a piece of chocolate inside each one.
Step 5
Fry the pancakes on both sides in vegetable oil in a well-heated skillet over medium heat. Place the finished pancakes on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
