Cottage Cheese Casserole with Cheese and Herbs
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese 30 oz
- Cheese Spread 15 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Herbs 1 bunch
- Butter 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Set aside some grated cheese.
Step 2
Finely chop the herbs.
Step 3
Press the garlic into the cottage cheese, mix it with the grated cheese and eggs, add the herbs, and mix everything again. Do not do this in a blender on high speed; the cottage cheese does not like it, and you risk getting a cottage cheese mousse instead of a casserole.
Step 4
Grease the baking dish with butter and place the entire mixture in it.
Step 5
Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake in the oven until done (baking time is about 30 minutes at medium heat).
