Description

This dish turns out to be incredibly delicate. It can be eaten hot (very airy) or cold — it becomes denser and can be sliced to take to work for lunch. You can drizzle it with jam and add fresh berries for those who enjoy a bit of tartness. Enjoy your meal.

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese 5 oz
  • Bananas 2 pieces
  • Semolina 1 tablespoon
  • Milk 0 fl oz
  • Sugar 0 oz
  • Vanillin a pinch
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Soak the semolina for 30 minutes, pouring just enough milk to cover it slightly; otherwise, it will turn into a mush rather than a casserole.

Step 2

Mash the cottage cheese in a bowl, add the egg, sugar, and vanillin.

Step 3

To the resulting mixture, add the swollen semolina.

Step 4

For the bananas, I usually peel them, cut them lengthwise, then cut those halves again lengthwise, and then chop them into small pieces to add to the mixture. You can also slice them into rounds and layer them — bananas, mixture, bananas, mixture, and so on.

Step 5

Now for the interesting part. Place the mixture and bananas in a rice container (sold with the steamer). Cover with foil and place it on the first tier of the steamer. Set the timer for 30–35 minutes.
