  • Dill to taste
  • Cod Liver 5 oz

Step 1

Drain the cod liver from excess oil; you can also pat it dry with a paper towel.

Step 2

Mix it with good quality, non-grainy cottage cheese. Use a fork to combine; the dip should be fluffy, not clay-like. Therefore, only use a fork—no blenders.

Step 3

Finely chop the onion, mix it in, and add salt and pepper.

Step 4

Add dill. Serve on rye bread toast with hot boiled potatoes.
