Description

You should add more salt to corn porridge than usual. I'm not sure why, but this grain absorbs salt very well. Instead of butter, you can use sunflower oil, and then it’s worth adding a bit of ground pepper to the porridge. Also, corn porridge, like mulled wine, does not like to be reheated.

Ingredients

  • Coarse Cornmeal 5 oz
  • Water 10 fl oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Paprika to taste
  • Butter 0 oz

Step 1

Rinse the cornmeal several times.

Step 2

Pour in water and bring to a boil. Stir it as often as possible, or it will burn.

Step 3

When the porridge is ready, add salt, butter, and paprika.
