- Garlic 4 cloves
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Salt 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper 1 tablespoon
- Herbes de Provence 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the tomatoes, cut them into quarters, and remove the seeds.

Combine the oil, salt, sugar, and pepper with the tomatoes.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 210°F. Arrange the tomato wedges on a baking sheet with the cut side facing down. Place slightly crushed garlic cloves between the wedges. Sprinkle with herbes de Provence. Bake in the oven for about three to four hours.

Once the tomatoes are ready, allow them to cool, then place them in a glass jar or plastic container. Pour in olive oil, seal it, and store in the refrigerator.
