  • Popcorn ½ glasses
  • Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Salt ¼ spoons

Prepare all the ingredients.

Step 2

In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Pour the popcorn kernels into the pot.

Step 4

Cover the pot with a lid; in a minute, the kernels will start popping open with characteristic cracks.

Step 5

Keep the popcorn on the heat for 2–4 minutes, until the kernels stop popping. Occasionally shake the pot with the lid on to prevent the kernels from burning.

Step 6

Once the popcorn is ready, remove the pot from the heat.

Step 7

In a small saucepan, melt the butter with salt until the salt dissolves.

Step 8

Pour the melted butter into the pot with the popcorn, aiming to coat as many kernels as possible.

Step 9

Cover the popcorn again with the lid and shake it well.

Step 10

Transfer the finished popcorn to a suitable bowl and enjoy it while it's hot.
