
Classic Cranberry Sauce with Port Wine

Ingredients
- Dried cranberries with sugar 15 oz
- Red port 10 fl oz
- Raw cane sugar 5 oz
- Orange juice concentrate 5 fl oz
- Corn Starch 1 teaspoon
- English Dry Mustard 1 teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 teaspoon
- Ground clove a pinch
- Chopped almonds 0 oz
- Orange zest 1 tablespoon
- Light Raisins, Seedless 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Citrus Zest Mix 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine cranberries, port wine, sugar, and orange juice. Place over medium heat and cook for about 10 minutes, until the berries start to burst.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix the cornstarch, mustard, lemon juice, and cloves. Add a little water to form a paste. Add the paste to the berries.
Step 3
Then add the raisins, almonds, and citrus zests. Season with salt and cook for another 5 minutes. Cool.
