Classic Bolognese Sauce
Ingredients
- Carrot 1 piece
- Lean Beef 10 oz
- Celery stalk 1 piece
- Onion 1 piece
- Dry White Wine 0 fl oz
- Olive Oil to taste
- Butter 0 oz
- Spiced Tomato Juice 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Green Tagliatelle Pasta 15 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Chop the onion, carrot, celery, and bacon.
Step 2
Pour olive oil into a skillet and add a piece of butter; when the butter melts, add all the vegetables to the skillet.
Step 3
Stir, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 50-60 minutes.
Step 4
When the vegetables are ready, add the bacon and ground beef, season with salt and pepper, stir, and cook for 10-15 minutes.
Step 5
Then pour in the wine and simmer for another 30-40 minutes.
Step 6
Next, add the tomatoes, stir, and let it simmer for another 15-20 minutes.
Step 7
You can then cook the tagliatelle until al dente, mix it with the Bolognese sauce, and serve, or you can use the sauce for lasagna or store it in the refrigerator until tomorrow.
