Chocolate omelette with cinnamon and vanilla
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
- Cocoa Powder 1 teaspoon
- Sugar 1½ teaspoons
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Cinnamon ¼ teaspoon
- Vanilla salt a pinch
- Milk 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Whisk the eggs, flour, sugar, salt, cocoa, cinnamon, and vanilla in a bowl with a blender until frothy (about 3 minutes on high speed).
Step 2
Add the milk and whisk for another 1–2 minutes.
Step 3
Heat a pan and grease it with oil (it's best to use vegetable oil, but in a very thin layer).
Step 4
Pour the mixture from step 2 into the pan and cover with a lid.
Step 5
Cook on low heat for 5–7 minutes (until the surface of the omelette becomes matte).
Step 6
Flip the omelette and cook for another 2–3 minutes (until browned).
Step 7
Place the omelette on a plate and drizzle with jam (syrup) but not too much. It's better to use jam with a slight tartness (I prefer blackcurrant).
Step 8
Serve the omelette best with hot cocoa.
