Chocolate Fondue with Dried Fruits
Ingredients
- Dried Apricots 5 oz
- Pitted Wild Apricots 5 oz
- Pickled Apples 5 oz
- Dry White Wine 15 fl oz
- Star anise 2 pieces
- Honey 2 tablespoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz
- Cream 10 fl oz
- White Chocolate 5 oz
- Coconut Liqueur 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the dried fruits and cut them into pieces.
Step 2
Bring the wine to a boil, add the star anise, lemon juice, and honey. Pour the hot mixture over the dried fruits and let it sit for 3 hours.
Step 3
Heat the cream and melt the chopped chocolate in it. Add the liqueur and mix well.
Step 4
Pour the chocolate mixture into a fondue pot and keep it warm on the stove.
Step 5
Drain the dried fruits and arrange them on plates. Use a fork to dip the dried fruits into the chocolate.
