Chocolate Banana Pancakes with Milk
Breakfasts • American
Description
If you are a chocolate lover, you can make pancakes with a filling: after pouring the batter into the pan, let it set a bit and place a square of chocolate in the center, then pour a little more batter on top. Cook the pancakes on both sides until golden brown.
Ingredients
- Bananas 2 pieces
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Cocoa Powder 1½ tablespoons
- Vanillin a pinch
- Sour Cream to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mash the peeled bananas with a fork.
Step 2
Mix the resulting mass with the eggs, vegetable oil, milk, and sugar.
Step 3
Sift the flour into a separate bowl, then add the baking powder, vanillin, and cocoa.
Step 4
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and gently stir. The batter should have the consistency of thick sour cream. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, then spoon the batter onto it to form small pancakes.
Step 6
Wait for bubbles to appear on the top side of the pancake, then flip and cook until golden brown for another 2 minutes.
Step 7
Serve the finished pancakes with sour cream or sweet sauces, jam, if desired.
