Chinese Style Fried Spinach
Ingredients
- Fresh basil leaves 1 bunch
- Peanut Butter 1 tablespoon
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Water ½ cup
- Sesame Oil ½ teaspoon
- Soy Sauce 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat the peanut oil in a wok over high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for a few seconds until fragrant.
Step 2
Immediately add the washed spinach leaves, stir, and cook for about a minute until the leaves are slightly wilted.
Step 3
Pour in the water, cover with a lid, and cook for another minute until the spinach stems are tender.
Step 4
Add the sesame oil, soy sauce, season with salt and pepper. Stir, remove from heat, and serve.
