Description

Stir-fried vegetables can be served as a standalone dish or as a side to grilled meat, chicken, and fish.

Ingredients

  • Onion 1 head
  • Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
  • Courgette 2 pieces
  • Pickled Chanterelles 10 oz
  • Olive Oil 5 fl oz
  • Soy Sauce 5 fl oz
  • Corn Starch 2 tablespoons
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash and dry the vegetables. Slice the onion into half-rings. Remove the stems and seeds from the bell peppers and cut them into strips. Cut the zucchini lengthwise and then crosswise into segments. Slice the champignon mushrooms across the caps (you can use canned champignon mushrooms).

Step 2

Dilute the soy sauce with an equal amount of water and mix the cornstarch into this mixture.

Step 3

Heat the wok very well, pour in the olive oil, and add the vegetables in the following order: first the onion, then the zucchini, bell peppers, and champignon mushrooms. The vegetables should be constantly stirred; they should be sautéed, not steamed, and should taste slightly undercooked. When the vegetables reach this level of doneness, pour in the soy mixture with cornstarch, season with black pepper to taste, and mix everything thoroughly.
